
- CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

- Gentle Yoga
- This class is designed as an introduction to yoga asana and breathing. Movements are slow and gentle with emphasis on alignment and comfort. A good class for inactive beginners, elderly, post-partum and post surgery, and anyone with movement restrictions.
- Beginner
- This class is suitable for those with little or no experience in the practice of yoga. Learn the fundamentals which apply to all levels and Flow Yoga. Proper alignment, movement and breath will be emphasized. Relaxation/Meditation will be part of this class.
- Beginner/Intermediate
- For those students with some experience. It emphasizes the same properties of Beginner but tends to flow at a more challenging pace. Headstand and Crow pose are introduced.
- Hip Opener
- This is a a class geared towards opening the hips for all levels of strength and flexibility. Standing, balancing poses, backbends, and forward bends are practiced. Class includes relaxation & meditation. All Levels welcome.
- Flow Yoga
- This class emphasizes continuous, fluid movement with fewer details given to each pose. It blends asanas (postures) with connecting movements (vinyasas) and strong focus on the breath. This will build internal heat while improving strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health. This class is a more strenuous style of yoga. Experience in yoga asanas is required.
Bellies and Back (B&B)- Core Strength for Yoga - Pilates based
- It is for anyone who wishes to create powerful abdominals while building a stronger back. Hip, Thigh, and Upper Body exercises will be added. Breathing techniques and longer relaxation/meditation are part of this class. All levels welcome.

Cardio Yoga -

It is a conditioning class for those who wish to lose weight and gain strength. We will use yoga powerful standing postures combined with movements to elevate the heart rate, ball, tube and core exercises to strengthen the entire body. Relaxation included. All levels are welcome.
Fusion Yoga -
Fusion is a blend of various yoga styles like ashtanga, viniyoga, kundalini and Pilates. We also will incorporate a resistance band during the asana practice. This creates a more intense practice by fusing resistance training and yoga into a single workout. All levels are welcome. Modifications are always offered.
